Every school on MontessoriCity is ranked by a Bayesian average of Google rating and review count — full stop. Paying for a lead, claiming your listing, or filling in your tuition never changes where you appear in search results or city rankings.
How much does this cost?
$50 for each parent lead you unlock, one time per family per school every 90 days. $100 for a tour booked independently of a lead. If a tour comes from a lead you already unlocked, the tour itself is free — you already paid for that family once.
Do I have to pay to be listed, or to rank well?
No. Being listed is free, forever. Ranking on every page is a Bayesian average of your Google rating and review count — nothing about payment, claiming, or plan level feeds into it. You only pay when a specific parent asks to be connected with you.
What if a lead never responds after I pay?
You have 48 hours before we send you a reminder, and 7 days total. If there’s still no "contacted" mark from you after 7 days, we automatically refund the $50 and pass that family to another school. This is not optional on our end — it’s the core trust guarantee of the product.
What do I see before I pay?
The child’s age band, when they want to start, how far they are from you, their stated budget range, and what they said matters most to them. Enough to judge whether it’s worth $50 to you. Name, email, and phone unlock after payment.
Can I try it for free?
Yes — every claimed listing with a published tuition range gets one full lead free every calendar month, no card required. It doesn’t roll over, and it resets automatically on the 1st. Claiming itself is always free regardless.
Do I need to keep a calendar up to date?
No. You set a recurring weekly availability once (e.g. "Tuesdays and Thursdays, 9:30–11:00, 60-minute slots") and it auto-rolls forward. You only touch it again to block a specific day off.
