CWELCC and the Canada Child Benefit. The Canada-Wide Early Learning and Child Care initiative reduces fees at participating licensed child care centres in most provinces/territories — it does not apply to private schools, so a Montessori school's Casa program (often licensed child care) may qualify while its Elementary program (often a private school) does not, even at the same address. The Canada Child Benefit is a separate, broader monthly payment to eligible families that isn't tied to any specific daycare.
